Native to the moist bottomlands in southwestern Canada, scattered in shallow valleys and waterway borders. The black walnut tree is renowned for its dark and lustrous heartwood used for high quality furniture and veneer.
Special Edition: Walnut wood has a unique feature where the heartwood and sapwood are very distinct in coloration, making for an elegant mix of color in a single diffuser.
